Academic Suspension

Students whose cumulative grade point average remains under 2.0 for a third consecutive semester are placed on academic suspension for at least one full semester.  Students on academic suspension are not permitted to enroll in courses at Stevenson. Academic suspension status is reflected on the transcript. Students receive an academic suspension letter after the grade review process has been completed. If a student believes extenuating circumstances exist, then they may appeal their suspension through the Academic Review Board process. Specific instructions and deadlines for appeals to the Academic Review Board are outlined in the suspension letter.
