MATH 138 Scientific Algebra

Reviews the mathematics required to succeed in introductory science courses. Students will focus on formula manipulation, extraction of relevant material from problems, basic data analysis, and graphical methods. Examples from the physical and life sciences will be emphasized. Topics from algebra and precalculus which are relevant to the sciences will be covered.
