BME 340 Systems Physiology
Examines human physiology through modeling and simulation of entire systems with an emphasis on how interactions between them maintain homeostasis through feedback control. Fundamentals of general, membrane, and human physiology are used to support examination of the circulatory, respiratory, renal, and nervous systems, and the special senses. Laboratory sessions will explore engineering methods and instrumentation to monitor and study physiological systems.
