IS 350 IS Internship
Allows students to gain hands-on experience by working for a business, government, or not-for-profit organization that offers a well-rounded, supervised, practical career experience appropriate for their major. A minimum of 120 hours over 8 weeks or more of supervised work at the internship site is required for a 3-credit internship. Each additional credit requires 40 hours of on-the-job and/or classroom work. Students can complete up to 2 different internships, 3-6 variable credits each, not to exceed 9 credits in total. Course is repeatable for credit, subject to Department Chair’s approval.
