PSY 630 Professional Practice

Covers a range of topics related to professional practice and the challenges health services professionals may face in professional settings. Topics may include the history of professional psychology, involvement in state and national professional organizations, the path to becoming licensed and board certified, the appropriate use of social media in professional and personal life, and the management of business. Special attention will be given to self-care and the issues of ethical professional practice. This course may be used to fulfill elective requirements.
