CHS 270 Psychopharmacology and Addictions

Provides an overview of psychoactive drugs, their effects, and the knowledge and skills needed to deal with the problems of addiction. This course addresses the various models of addiction, progression, diagnosis and dual diagnosis, recovery, relapse, the intervention process, and the effects of addiction on the individual, family, and society. Formerly HSR 270.
