BME 315 Biomaterials

Examines the structure and function of natural and synthetic biomaterials. Explores molecular level interactions between biomolecules and biomaterials in the design of novel biomaterials for applications such as implants, drug delivery systems, biosensors and engineered materials such as artificial skin and bone growth scaffolds.  (Pending review by the Academic Affairs Committee.)
