FSCI 675 The Crime Laboratory: Structure and Operations

This course would describe the structure and operations of a modern day crime laboratory facility. Students would be made aware of the various forensic disciplines comprising a crime laboratory as well as the management structure that is found in the majority of crime laboratories that are under the auspices of a law enforcement agency. Students will be made aware of the supervisory responsibilities of management personnel in the practices that are used by management to fulfill the requirements of ASCLD/LAB accreditation.
