MATH 128 Foundational Mathematical Reasoning

Surveys applications of various fields of mathematics to everyday life. Topics to be covered include calculation, measurement, and number sense; recognition and interpretation of growth patterns; mathematics in financial decisions; elementary statistics and probability and their uses in decision-making; and other applications. Provides additional support for students in algebra and number skills beyond that provided in MATH 135. Students cannot receive credit for both MATH 135 and MATH 128.
