Counseling Services
Counseling services are free for all Stevenson University students and include short-term counseling and crisis intervention. After an initial intake appointment, the counselor will determine if the student's needs are best met by the Wellness Center staff. Off-campus referrals can be provided if a student's needs are beyond the Wellness Center's scope of service. If deemed appropriate, the counseling staff can also refer students for limited onsite psychiatric care through the Center's Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. Psychiatric services come with a small fee charged to the student's account.
