FIN 450 Business Valuation

Introduces students to the principles of business valuation in both public and private firm setting. Students will learn how to create, measure and enhance business value using the intrinsic and relative valuation methods. Major topics include discounted cash flow, equity and value multiples, advantages and disadvantages of each method, how to choose the right method, and how to enhance value by applying the learned principles to business decisions.
