PHYS 211 General Physics II
Introduces the fundamentals of electricity, magnetism, and optics. Topics include electrostatics, Ohm's law, magnetic fields, Faraday's law, AC circuits, Maxwell's equations, wave motion, geometrical optics, diffraction, and interference. Algebra provides the mathematical basis for problem-solving. Laboratory included. Students cannot received credit for both PHYS 211 and PHYS 216.
