Academic Probation/Suspension
A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 is required for all graduate work completed in a Master’s or Doctoral degree program. A grade of “C” is the lowest acceptable passing grade in all graduate courses. Only one grade of “C” may be applied toward the cumulative GPA in any graduate program. A student whose cumulative GPA falls below the required minimum in one term will be placed on Academic Probation with the University. A second consecutive term on Academic Probation will result in Academic Suspension from the University. Specific academic programs may have additional probation/suspension policies (see specific program sections).
