Academic Probation - Online Bachelor's Degree Seeking Students

Any student who has attempted 1 to 18 semester hours of credit and whose grade point average falls below 1.50 is on academic probation. A student who has attempted 19 to 29 semester hours of credit and whose grade point average falls below 1.90 is on academic probation. After a student attempts 30 or more credits, he or she must maintain a grade point average of 2.00 or higher in order to be in good academic standing. A student who falls below the standards for good academic standing will be placed on probation. Students on academic probation are strongly encouraged to meet with their Student Success Coach throughout their semester on academic probation. The goal of such meetings would be to monitor the student’s progress and to discuss strategies for improvement.
